E-Mail Etiquette Notes

  • Be sure to have a meaningful subject line.
  • Use standard spelling, punctuation, and caps.
  • Write in Microsoft Word and copy and paste it so you can use spell check.
  • Be friendly but be careful with jokes because non-verbals aren't there.
  • Try to respond to people within a reasonable time frame.
  • Be sure to double check an email that could hurt your reputation somehow.
